Niger Delta University is set to host an action-packed Student Week from November 3rd to 9th under the vibrant theme "Nothing Do You" – a celebration that promises to engage students across various activities ranging from entertainment to community service.
The week-long event, organized by the Student Union Government (SUG), showcases a diverse program designed to foster student engagement, showcase talents, and give back to the community.
A Week of Dynamic Activities
The festivities kick off on: Day 1 (November 3rd) with a Rally and Movie Night, setting an energetic tone for the week ahead. Students will gather for what promises to be an exciting opening ceremony followed by an evening of cinema entertainment.
Day 2 brings the competitive spirit alive with Sports Day and a Jersey Party, encouraging students to showcase their athletic abilities while celebrating sports culture in style.
The week takes on a philanthropic dimension on Day 3 with a Medical Outreach program combined with a Talent Hunt. This dual-purpose event demonstrates the university's commitment to community service while providing a platform for students to display their creative abilities.
Day 4's Rag Day offers students a chance to let loose and enjoy traditional university festivities, followed by Day 5's Cultural Day featuring "Aluta Vibes" – a celebration of student culture and heritage.
The penultimate day, Day 6, honors student achievements with an Awards and Dinner Night, recognizing outstanding contributions and excellence within the university community.
